Network issue, unicast frames dropped by kernel?

Postby greglazor on Fri May 04, 2018 8:29 am

Hi,

I have a weird problem. 2 days ago, I installed Ubuntu server 18.04 with DNS server selected by mistake in tasksel. After that, no internet on any Ubuntu machine connected to this network. Tried 16.04, 17.10 and 18.04. Tried on 3 different hardware.
Funny thing is, running Windows 10 and 7 on the same machine works! Taking the same setup (xUbuntu 17.10) to my neighbor next door works perfectly. So it is just the combination xUbuntu/Ubuntu and specifically my physical ISP port that stopped working.
Anyone have a clue of what is going on?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
