Residents Priority Parking

Update on RPP in Priestfield B7 area

In response to concerns of residents, in December 2017 Grange Prestonfield Community Council carried out a consultation on parking and traffic issues within the Priestfield area.

This briefing note summarises the Council’s analysis of that consultation and resulting proposed changes to parking provision in the B7 area: b7-parking.pdf

Residents Priority Parking

Proposals for Residents Priority Parking in Priestfield

The proposals for a Residents Priority Parking zone in Priestfield are similar to those already introduced in the south part of the Grange. Residents can pay about £30pa allowing them to park all day in designated spaces. Commuters are discouraged because those without permits cannot use these bays between 1000am and 1130am.

Residents in the Priestfield area are being consulted by letter during February 2013. If the results are encouraging, more detailed plans will be drawn up and the Community Council expects to have public consultation meetings.
