GPCC: What's it all about?

GPCC is your local democracy calling-card to Ward Councillors at City Chambers and to City Council managers at Waverley Court. GPCC stands to promote your neighbourhood’s ‘place’, ‘space’, amenity and well-being.

Your neighbourhood starts at your own front door. If you don’t speak up, you aren’t heard. If you aren’t heard, you aren’t listened to. If you aren’t listened to, you’re left out of the picture, and things move on.

This fast-growing city is changing all around you. GPCC works to keep you connected. GPCC speaks directly to City Chambers, to Waverley Court, to other public agencies and service providers and to voluntary groups. It ensures your neighbourhood is on the map.

GPCC is made up of elected members and several local interest groups. There is an open invitation to attend our regular monthly meetings. You can tell us what you would like to see change for the better in our Grange Prestonfield community.

There is also room for you to join us in what we are about. GPCC could do with your help. Look over the website. Let's have your ideas. Involve yourself. Put something back in. Call us.
