Low Emission Zone (LEZ) Update: Autumn 2023

The City Council’s plans for LEZ enforcement from 1 June 2024 are on track.

The signage installation programme is now underway. This will include automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras. The works will take place around the boundary of the LEZ, which spans the city centre.
