The challenges of insulating Homes in a Conservation Zone – Marchmont & Sciennes Community Council

Marchmont & Sciennes Community Council have recently been working with the City Council’s Conservation and Adaptation Working Group (which should be reporting shortly).

This detailed report highlights practical difficulties and calls for the Council’s planning guidance to be reviewed, along with better illustration of ‘good practice’ approaches to insulation improvements.
